Creating a dark yet melodic sound of their own, 5MAN is perfecting the hard rock/metal style in their newest release, The Permanent Campaign. By utilizing heavy power chords, chugging guitar riffs, pulsating bass and pounding machine-gun style drums, 5MAN has supplied the basic elements to complement the spiritually vivid vocals of love and hate portrayed in its socially relevant lyrics.

Deriving its name from singer Damian Mancl’s mantra, 5MAN is based on the concept of stripping away the superficial aspects of life and focusing on the four basic elements and one passion. Having these five things in mind, one can live as a MAN of 5, or 5MAN.

Having performed at college campuses, local clubs and national music festivals such as Dropfest, Summerfest, and the Music as a Weapon Tour, 5MAN is no stranger to displaying their raw talent and passion to others. Hailing from Appleton, WI., 5MAN has opened for Deftones, Clutch, Drowning Pool, Shinedown, Saliva, Egypt Central, P.O.D., Cold, Taproot, Nonpoint, Dope, Hellyeah, Lacuna Coil, Machine Head and more.
